Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Dreamware at dreamware.life handles information used in its journal, personal tracking, astrology, and sharing features.
Information Dreamware stores
Dreamware stores the information you submit to provide your account and the features you choose to use, including:
- Account and profile information: email address, account identifier, username, display name, birthday, gender selection, optional profile photo, and account timestamps. Dreamware supports email/password and Google sign-in. Supabase handles authentication, including passwords, email confirmation, and password recovery. Phone or SMS sign-in is not currently available. Signup profile details may also be stored with the authentication account.
- Birth, astrology, and people: names, birth dates, birth times or unknown-time status, birthplace, coordinates, and time zone for you and any Saved People or manual Group Dynamics members you add, plus Saved People relationship categories and journal links. Dreamware uses this to create charts, transits, interpretations, comparisons, and related features.
- Private records: journal entries, photo memories, dreams, Archive history, notes, activities, mood and check-ins, food and exercise records, body observations, cycle records, and other content you enter. These entries may contain sensitive personal or health information.
- Connections and messages: friend requests, friendships, blocks, cycle-sharing choices, and feedback or support messages. Records also include the identifiers and dates needed to associate them with your account.
How Dreamware uses information
Dreamware uses your information to authenticate you, save and display your records, calculate the features you use, carry out sharing choices, respond to feedback, and maintain and protect the service. Aggregate usage information helps improve the app.
Astrology and personal-pattern features are calculated by Dreamware’s rules. Dreamware does not send journal, dream, body, food, activity, or cycle content to an external AI service for interpretation.
Sharing with other users
Dreamware is not a public feed. Friends does not make your journals, photo memories, dreams, private logs, birth-source details, Saved People, or Group Dynamics public. Your account email, birthday, and gender are not shown on friend-facing profiles.
- Registered users can find your username and display name through Friends. Your optional photo can be viewed by people in a pending friend request with you and by accepted friends, subject to blocking.
- Accepted friends can view your friend profile, membership month, and available derived natal chart for chart comparisons. That chart can include placements, degrees, houses, and aspects, but not your source birth date, time, place, coordinates, or time zone. It may still allow inferences about you.
- Cycle sharing is a separate choice for each accepted friend. You choose whether to share current status, period history, predicted period dates, or predicted ovulation dates. It does not share your journal, photo memories, body, food, or exercise notes.
You can revoke cycle sharing, remove a friendship, or block someone. Those actions end future sharing through these features, but cannot erase copies or screenshots another person has already made.
Providers, feedback, and other disclosures
Dreamware does not sell personal information or provide it to advertisers or data brokers. It uses these service providers to operate the app:
- Supabase provides authentication, the database, and private storage for profile photos and Journal photo memories.
- Google provides optional Google sign-in.
- Vercel hosts Dreamware and its server functions, including feedback delivery and the analytics described below.
- Resend delivers in-app feedback. Signed-in feedback sends your message, optional category, optional reply email, and submission time to Dreamware’s feedback inbox. Feedback is not stored as an account database record.
Direct email to Dreamware is handled through Gmail. These providers may process ordinary service data such as IP address, request or delivery details, browser or device information, and security logs, potentially outside your country. Birthplace search uses a downloaded GeoNames catalog in your browser; typed searches are not sent to GeoNames. External sites follow their own privacy practices.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably needed to address abuse, protect people or the service, or establish or defend legal rights.
Vercel Analytics
Dreamware uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page-use statistics. Its app-side filter sends only recognized page-view routes, removes query strings and fragments, replaces dates, person IDs, and usernames with generic route labels, and drops custom events and unknown paths. It does not attach account identifiers, form values, or private content to these events.
Vercel says its analytics may process request-derived information such as visit time, generalized page path, approximate location, and browser or device type, without third-party cookies. See Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation.
Cookies and browser storage
Supabase session cookies keep you signed in. Dreamware uses a recovery cookie and session storage for password recovery, and local storage for your theme preference. Older prototype data may remain in local storage; a successful account deletion attempts to clear known legacy data and the local session in the browser you are using.
Clearing cookies or storage can sign you out or interrupt recovery. It does not delete records stored with your account.
Retention and deletion
Dreamware keeps account records until you edit or delete them, or delete your account. It does not automatically expire accounts or private records for inactivity.
To delete an account, open Account and type DELETE to confirm. If deletion succeeds, Dreamware removes the authentication account and linked database records, including your profile, birth information, derived friend chart, journals, dreams, Saved People, Group Dynamics, private logs, period records, friendships, blocks, and cycle-sharing settings. The account-deletion flow also removes each private photo-memory object and its linked record before it removes the account. This cannot be undone through the app.
Remove your profile photo in Profile before deleting your account. Profile photo files require separate removal and may prevent account deletion. If the app cannot confirm removal of a private photo memory, it stops account deletion and asks you to try again. Deletion does not remove feedback or support email, copies made by other people, information another user entered independently, or provider backups and operational logs. Those copies may be retained for provider, security, recovery, or legal reasons; immediate deletion from every copy is not promised.
Security, changes, and contact
Dreamware uses authentication, database access rules, limited sharing, and private photo storage to limit access. Private content is not end-to-end encrypted, and no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
This policy may change as Dreamware changes; the date above identifies its latest revision. For privacy questions, deletion help, or other concerns, email dreamware.life@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
